L.B.D. for the Millionth Time

Truthfully, I don't know your atypical little black dress. Where would I need to wear it? Work? The library during homework? Visiting the relatives for a BBQ? No, my life does not require a L.B.D. beyond the giant black jumper I wear when I feel fat. I still like this one though.

Life Before I Met You

I'm bad at posting.

I've been hoarding a bunch of pictures I found a while back so I'll share two with you now...sorry if I'm already out of fashion (sarcasm). You know how things go. However, it is not yet after Labour Day (like I pay attention to that anyways) so I can go ahead and post lovely pictures of this delicious Prada sack I could use in my collection.

Meet My New Girlfriend

I've been searching high and low for a decent pair of sandals, but frankly, I'd given up hope of finding my ideal pair, now that we are halfway through summer. Yesterday while shopping at Holt Renfrew, the sandals found me. Because it took so long, everything has now hit the sales racks and I couldn't be more pleased - everyone, I'd like you to meet Chloé.

Kickin' It in Sky-Highs

Oi. After much debating at staring at these shoes and nearly buying them previously, today, I caved. Please don't tell anyone I've been shopping again - my friend Rachel will judge me! (Although I am fully aware that posting such information on my blog invites that knowledge of my actions. For shame.) I'll get over it though. My first pair of coveted Loeffler Randall's Italian beauties.

Can't Quit You

So I've been shopping again in the last few days, but don't tell anyone. It's just low-budget type things: McQ crops and a Harajuku Lovers hoodie. Pictures to follow...and here they are! Ah, good old casual fare for summer.

Swing Kids

Is coral a hot new colour? I didn't see that one coming if it is. If the style of this dress looks familiar to you, it probably is. I think this "Grecian Goddess"-style dress has been stuck onto the bodies of more Hollywood "it girls" than Brody Jenner or Wilmer Valderrama put together. Thank goodness for that.

My Kind of Flashing Coat

I am a big-time jacket whore. It's hard for me to see a nice jacket and say no to it - this is why I have a closet full of jackets. I can justify a need for every type of jacket under the sun. I love trenches, but they always have so many damn buttons that fall off that I spend far too much time sewing on buttons.

Presenting Once Again...

So I'm back to doing stuff here again. At least for now. I don't know if I can keep pace with daily updates, but I'll do stuff. You know, stuff stuff.

Anyways, Alexander McQueen has quickly become by absolute favie designer in quite a short time...not that it was hard to do. His stuff is just so completely wearable and features no Pamela Anderson advertisements.

Taking a Break...

Hey...I don't know if anyone even reads this blog, but I'm taking a posting break for a while. The spending and coveting needs to slow down and I need to focus on schoolwork and life right now. I'm sure the fever will strike and I'll post lovely things again shortly.

Inhaling Smoke

I've never been a big clutch fan. They seem like handbags but hold less things and you actually need to have your hand on them at all times. What if I want to eat while standing up? This would not work. I might be willing to starve, however, if I had this in my hot little hands.

All Tied Up

Miu Miu's adorable accessories are quickly gaining momentum towards being my favorite accessories period. Actually, since I don't have a current favorite, I think I will make Miu Miu it by default. There, done. This cute bow necklace has been dubbed 'coveted'.

Make Me Fancy

Some days I feel like I want to wear a suit or jacket to work but the stuff I have is, well, stuffy. Blue pinstripe boring-ness doesn't inspire me so I just never wear it. If I owned this charming jacket by Vivienne Westwood, I think I'd wear it often.

Unbalanced

More goodness provided by Alexander McQueen as the S/S 2009 collection rolls into the stores. I'm currently on the hunt for a longer dress so I'll pass this one up (I'll just pretend I can really afford it, OK?)

Not Your Average Pump

The brand Lanvin, in my mind, equates with smooth and easy elegance. Attention to meticulous detail. Kind of flawless. Always on the lookout for gorgeous footwear that I can blog about but not wear or afford, these fit the bill perfectly. Ooh la la!

Little Ms. Perfect

I think bows are all the rage now, aren't they? Even if they aren't, I'm still going to rage about them. Also being a fan of the comfort that wedges provide, these shoes are absolutely perfect. I want these on my feet so bad I'm officially dubbing them 'coveted'.

Michael Kors sure knows how to cut a dress just the way I like it. I just need to dig around in everyone's couch cushions to gather enough change to buy it. I am accepting donations starting immediately.

Wrap Me Like A Mummy

The bandage King has struck again. The jury is still out on whether I'd ever feel comfortable wearing one of these, but the colours are so pretty and I really love the look of them. Maybe I'll try dyeing tensor bandages and attempt something similar this weekend. Or not. (Why'd these pictures turn out so terrible?)

Being Nerdy

In college, I had a habit of perfectionism...its still there, to a degree (okay, maybe a lot) but back then it translated into my studies (now, not so much). Due to my hard work, I was awarded a cheque for being smart and nerdy or something. I spent this cheque on my first designer handbag..sniff sniff. Being young, I was basically only aware of Louis Vuitton since everyone and their dog has one, so I went out and purchased me an Epi Petit Noe. Mine doesn't look this mint anymore. Boo hoo.
